Job summary

Boston Scientific Gruppe in Malaysia, Penang, seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier management and drive quality improvements across the supply chain.

The role collaborates with Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and Business Units to ensure material and process changes meet specifications, with emphasis on risk management and continuous improvement. You will guide VIP projects and support global solidity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 9+ years’ experience in a supplier engineering role or similar field.
• ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 knowledge is advantageous.
• Understanding of Gage R&R and Process Capability metrics.
• Experience in medical device or regulated industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical Team Member on teams with Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Business Units for supplier management.
• Communicates effectively with global internal and external stakeholders.
• Manages changes across multiple sites and builds global relationships.
• Leads supplier qualification projects from supplier selection to release, including risk assessment and validation.
• Identifies, supports and leads Material VIPs across the supply chain.
• Ensures components meet established requirements with QA, Procurement and BUs.
