Boston Scientific Medical Device (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a senior professional to drive supplier quality and supplier management initiatives.

You will support end-to-end supplier evaluation, qualification, and changes across multiple sites while collaborating with global stakeholders. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 9+ years in supplier engineering or related fields, plus knowledge of quality systems like ISO 9001/13485 and statistical methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Industrial or equivalent.
• 9+ years of experience in a supplier engineering/related role.
• Working knowledge of business/technical concepts for supplier management.
• ISO 9001/ISO 13485 knowledge is advantageous.
• Understanding of Gage R&R and Kappa validation principles.
• Familiarity with Process Capability indices (Ppk, Cpk, Pp).
• Minitab experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier management activities across purchasing, supplier quality and business units.
• Coordinate changes across multiple sites while building global relationships.
• Guide risk management and remediation activities in the supply chain.
• Support quality, cost and service objectives within the team.
• Promote the Quality System with the supplier base and across functions.
• Lead material qualification projects from supplier selection to release.
