Job summary

Boston Scientific in Penang seeks a seasoned analytics leader to support materials planning and purchasing with reports and analysis that drive effective planning, ramp-up, and inventory balance. You will lead a team of Business Process Analysts, collaborate with Applications and Core Systems, and contribute to global initiatives to optimize working capital and reduce costs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in supply chain and 8+ years’ experience, SAP S4HANA, Rapid Response, and proven Lean/Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field with 8+ years in planning or purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of planning processes and systems.
• Experience with SAP S4HANA and Rapid Response.
• Lean/Six Sigma process improvement experience.
• Project management experience; accreditation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Med Tech industry is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to work in fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance planning and purchasing reports, metrics and review processes that will allow the planning and purchasing teams to be more effective and efficient.
• Collaborate with Applications team to deliver new tools/reports in a timely manner. Prioritize projects and resources and manage tight timelines.
• Collaborate with Core systems (SAP, Rapid Response) group to identify and define system enhancements to improve our planning and data flow processes.
• Support global initiatives for inventory & cost optimization, planning & purchasing system and process enhancements, and data management.
• Develop a team of Business Process Analysts by providing appropriate guidance and training.
• Develop, enhance and deliver the training curriculum to ensure that planning & purchasing teams understand and can effectively use the reporting tools.
