Job summary

Boston Scientific in Penang is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage sourcing of raw materials, components and services, ensuring reliable supply and aligned with quality and cost targets.

You will lead supplier relationships, review requirements, generate and expedite purchase orders, and collaborate with quality, engineering and production teams to optimize inventory, lead times and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience with SAP, MRP and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Background in manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and supplier communications to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to balance quality and cost.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (quality, engineering, production, finance).
• Support SI&OP processes and contribute to build plans.
