Job summary

Boston Scientific in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Procurement professional responsible for procuring materials to sustain 100% service level while achieving quality and cost objectives. The role focuses on supplier management, PO administration, and cross-functional collaboration with quality, engineering and production.

You will drive procurement strategies, monitor supplier performance, manage inventory, and support SI&OP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in SAP R/3 or SAP ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, components, tooling, supplies and services to ensure 100% customer service level.
• Administer purchase orders, expediting and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor quality and delivery performance.
• Maintain master data, AVL, info records and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support SI&OP, build committed plans and drive output to meet objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support lean initiatives.
