Ambition in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Relationship Manager - Financial Institutions to cover Malaysia, building and managing relationships with banks, insurers, asset managers, and sovereign or public sector entities.

You will identify opportunities, coordinate with product specialists to deliver tailored solutions, lead client strategy and pitches, oversee KYC onboarding, work with credit analysts, and maintain accurate deal pipelines.

Formación

• Proven experience in financial institutions coverage or institutional banking is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-cultural awareness.
• High integrity, sound judgement and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Build and manage relationships with banks, insurers, asset managers, and sovereign or public sector entities in Malaysia.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities, coordinating with product specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead account planning, client strategy development, and the preparation of pitches and briefing materials.
• Manage the KYC onboarding and recertification process as first line of defence in regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with credit analysts and internal stakeholders to support credit review and committee processes.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of deal pipelines, transactions, and client activity.
