Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Planning Executive (Test & Finishing) to plan, coordinate and monitor production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources while meeting customer demand, delivery commitments and quality standards.

Qualifications

Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems and production scheduling tools.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Review demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to support production planning.
Monitor WIP and adjust production schedules to address changes or delays.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with manufacturing and operations teams to communicate plans.
Track KPIs, including output, lead time, and inventory levels.
Maintain accurate production data and records in the MRP system.
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
