Job summary

Celestica in Malaysia seeks a Production Planner to oversee end-to-end production scheduling and execution, collaborating with Customer Program, Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on planning experience and strong SAP/MRP knowledge, with an emphasis on proactive problem-solving and effective communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on production planning experience; semiconductor exposure preferred.
• Proficient with SAP and MRPII/MRP systems.
• Strong collaboration with Customer Program, Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance teams.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly production demand loading and manage flow to meet delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maximize capacity utilization.
• Track WIP, aging orders, and disposition to avoid delays.
• Monitor CTB material readiness and expedite critical deliveries.
• Provide weekly KPI reports on stock, performance and OTD.
• Address urgent demand and provide status updates.
