Job summary

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in supervision, plus proficiency in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint and bilingual communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fresh graduates with management backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate, and oversee Line Leaders and Production Assistants to achieve daily targets.
• Communicate and monitor adherence to process changes and safety procedures.
• Ensure smooth shift changeovers and provide feedback on production issues.
• Maintain equipment in production mode, escalate non-production uses, and initiate quality re-captures.
• Manage manpower and materials to meet targets, review WIP reports, and prepare output reports.
• Enforce 5S standards and compliance with SOPs.
• Work with support groups on production matters.
• Lead daily briefings and prepare shift performance reports.
• Address team grievances, handle misconduct, and coordinate cross-training.
• Ensure SOP and specification compliance.
• Verify and recapture defects, elevate issues, and follow up on quality performance changes.
• Relay quality alerts and information to relevant teams.
