Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd in Ipoh, Malaysia seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in the semiconductor back-end.

You will ensure production schedules are met, optimize manpower and machine utilization, and drive quality, safety, and cost controls while collaborating with planners, engineers and quality teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in mechanical or electronic engineering and 5–10+ years in IC assembly/testing, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electronic engineering required.
• 5–10+ years in semiconductor back-end (IC assembly, packaging and final testing).
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules are met.
• Optimize manpower and machine utilization to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers and quality teams to hit output targets.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop production supervisors and operators.
• Conduct performance reviews, training programs and coaching sessions.
