Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to lead purchasing, supplier negotiations and material planning for its Penang plants. You will drive cost-effective procurement, monitor supplier performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires strong negotiation, planning and leadership skills, with a focus on delivering value, reducing costs, and maintaining high-quality procurement practices across Batu Lepas and Bayan Lepas

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in equivalent field.
3–5 years' industrial experience with 1–3 years relevant experience in Purchasing/Material management.
Good knowledge of supplier management and sourcing skills.
Good knowledge of SAM MM module, inventory management.

Responsibilities

Manage purchasing activities, including PO issuance, sourcing, contract management and supplier negotiations.
Monitor supplier performance for price, quality, flexibility and on-time delivery.
Drive cost-reduction initiatives and optimize purchasing strategies.
Plan material supply, inventory levels and procurement to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Collaborate with Material Planning, Production, Engineering, Finance and Warehouse.
Provide operational support to Batu Lepas and Bayan Lepas factories as required.
