Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Operations professional to drive end-to-end demand planning, customer orders, and forecast accuracy. You will coordinate across Planning, Customer Operations, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Engineering to meet commitments and optimize service levels.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve supply constraints and enhance profitability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Business and Supply Chain.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, six-sigma, and just-in-time processes.
• Experience in process improvement and KPI definition.
• Experience building out supply chain best practices.

Responsibilities

• Process demand commits and customer orders in SAP and forecast tool.
• Plan and monitor movement of product from order to delivery.
• Collaborate on forecast deltas based on actual demand.
• Lead projects to drive supply chain improvements and efficiencies.
• Run reports to monitor KPI and performance.
• Manage backlog and ensure on-time shipments.
