Job summary

Micron Technology in Penang seeks a seasoned procurement and supply chain professional to manage capital, spares and services, coordinate P2P, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain strong supplier relationships across a global network.

You will lead supplier qualification, drive cost improvements using should-cost models, negotiate contracts, and enable AI-enabled continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Experience managing semiconductor equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement process for Capital, Spares, and Services.
• Coordinate Procure to Pay (P2P) processes with on-time delivery and budget control.
• Maintain timely delivery to meet network capacity requirements.
• Act as primary contact for site suppliers and manage relationships.
• Lead supplier qualification and drive cost improvements using data models.
• Drive AI-enabled continuous improvement projects to simplify processes and raise productivity.
