Job summary

Advanced Energy Management Limited in Penang seeks a procurement professional to ensure on-time delivery and inventory control while strengthening supplier relationships. You will monitor supplier performance, manage communications, and drive improvements in purchasing processes.

Responsibilities include BRP review, supplier education on performance, RFQ/RFI negotiations, and close collaboration with planning and demand teams to meet production needs while maintaining cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or purchasing/planning
• Familiar with SAP operation
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Reviews BRP reports and analyses suggested orders and changes.
• Educates suppliers on performance measurements and continuous improvements.
• Monitors supplier quality and delivery against objectives and coordinates with logistics.
• Purchases parts/materials using RFQ/RFI, negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Maintains good relationships with suppliers and internal customers; coordinates with planning and demand teams.
• Maintains system integrity and completes purchasing assignments on time.
• Keeps inventory at reasonable levels through supplier negotiation and schedule adjustments.
