Job summary

SFP Tech Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a purchasing professional to manage sourcing, supplier negotiation, and procurement processes. The role focuses on timely procurement of materials, cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining product quality and supplier reliability, in alignment with ISO 9001 practices.

The position requires a diploma or degree in a related field and at least two years of purchasing experience, with strong negotiation and coordination skills across departments

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain management, business administration, purchasing, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with purchasing systems or ERP software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and across departments.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, and reliable delivery schedules.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely procurement and inventory control.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve procurement issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and develop cost-reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies.
• Liaise with Finance and Quality departments regarding payment matters and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company procedures.
• Support 5S practices and workplace standards.
