Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement leader to source direct materials for KFC, Pizza Hut, QSR Manufacturing and Region Food Industries. The role includes developing procurement strategies, expanding the supplier base, and ensuring Halal and food safety compliance to support operations.

You will collaborate with QA, Operations and Marketing, engage with suppliers on specifications and documentation, and drive cost-saving initiatives while aligning with policy and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 7–10 years in strategic or operational procurement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven vendor management and effective negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure direct materials for KFC, Pizza Hut, QSR Manufacturing and Region Food Industries according to policies.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with QA, Operations and Marketing to align product and supply needs.
• Engage suppliers on specs, quotations, negotiations, and documentation.
• Handle tenders, RFQs, RFPs and quotation processes.
• Ensure Halal and Food Safety compliance of raw materials.
• Coordinate with Legal on agreement vetting, execution and compliance.
• Drive cost-saving and cost-avoidance through strategic sourcing.
