Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement professional to plan, source, and procure materials, equipment, and services to meet project and operations needs. You will negotiate with suppliers, maintain vendor relationships, issue purchase orders, and monitor performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost efficiencies.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing, with a Diploma or degree in business or supply chain.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Knowledge of import processes, including coordination with local authorities and compliance requirements.
3–5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in construction, manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

Plan, source, and procure materials, equipment, and services based on project and operational needs.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure best terms.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders accurately and promptly.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Coordinate with contractors, warehouse, and accounts to ensure procurement flow.
Analyse price trends and market conditions to find cost-saving opportunities.
Liaise with local authorities for import permits, exemptions, and SST compliance.
