Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, seeks a Senior Officer, Planning to lead production scheduling, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination for optimal customer service and 3rd party revenue. You will partner with Production, Supply Planning, and Engineering to align plans and drive continuous improvement.

You will mentor teams, monitor capacity and demand, and ensure alignment with MPD/CRD goals, while upholding PBM principles and quality standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of planning experience.
• Strong planning analysis capability with the ability to maximise capacity and output.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with planning systems such as Rapid Response, Kinaxis, and APS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and drive production schedules to meet internal and external customer requirements, ensuring alignment with MPD and CRD goals by producing the right stock at the right time.
• Lead recovery planning in the event of production failures that impact delivery.
• Serve as the key interface for Delivery Management, ensuring shipment commitments are accurate.
• Review capacity constraints regularly and work with teams to implement solutions.
• Review and commit to monthly output and revenue targets for assigned engineering series.
• Monitor inventory movement and establish buffer stock levels.
• Conduct monthly reviews of DSI, S&E, and past shelf life to minimise inventory scrap.
• Evaluate published lead times against actual performance and drive alignment with plant metrics.
• Provide backup support for other planners during leave or manpower shortages.
• Support initiatives such as ISO 9001/14001, TQM, and GLSS projects.
• Apply PBM principles in daily work.
