Job summary

HABIB Group seeks an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive performance and operational excellence. You will oversee diverse operations, partner with the executive team, and implement robust controls to ensure efficiency, resilience, and value creation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, overseeing operations, project management, and supply chain management.
• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvement initiatives and optimizing operational workflows.
• Experience in managing technology projects and successfully integrating new systems.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the executive team to devise and execute innovative business strategies that drive organisational success.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at optimising operational efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to assess performance and provide strategic insights to leadership.
• Partner with the financial controller to develop budgets and conduct financial analyses.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team.
• Develop and implement robust risk management strategies for continuity and resilience.
• Institute effective internal controls to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction.
• Identify and execute process optimization opportunities through cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead complex, high-impact projects from initiation to completion.
• Oversee supply chain management, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
