Job summary

J-Recruit Recruitment Agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a commercially driven Chief Operating Officer to lead operations across brokerage, compliance and support functions. You will partner with the CEO to drive scalable growth regionally.

The role manages Operations, Customer Service, KYC/AML, Payments, HR and Finance, with a focus on operational excellence across Forex, CFD, and FinTech ventures in multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field.
• 8+ years in financial services with 3+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience managing teams of 50+ across functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the company's operational strategy and scalable SOPs.
• Oversee brokerage operations – onboarding, KYC/AML, deposits/withdrawals, CRM, MT5 support.
• Lead Operations, Customer Service, KYC/AML, Payments, HR and Finance teams.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to strengthen controls and audits.
• Manage global payment partners and optimize deposit/withdrawal turnaround.
• Support regional expansion into Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, and the Middle East.
