Job summary

Max logistics in Malaysia is seeking an accomplished Operations Assistant Logistics Manager (Air & Sea Freight) to drive commercial and operational success across the global supply chain. You will oversee quotation governance, carrier rate negotiations, and high-value client relationships, while leading end-to-end air and ocean workflows with a focus on service excellence.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in SCM/Logistics, at least 3 years in air/sea freight forwarding with leadership

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in air and sea freight forwarding with leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and autonomous execution in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Advanced command of Microsoft Office and forwarding systems.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Enablement & Business Growth: Partner with sales to formulate bids, cultivate key accounts (Korean and Malaysian markets), and handle client inquiries to maximize satisfaction and retention.
• Operational Excellence & Execution: Direct and oversee inbound/outbound freight operations across multi-modal air and ocean logistics.
• Service Leadership & Strategic Resolution: Resolve complex client challenges and drive continuous process improvements for efficiency.
