Job summary

Max logistics in Kuala Lumpur invites an experienced Assistant Logistics Manager (Air & Sea Freight) to lead sales support, quotation preparation, carrier rate negotiations, and client management. You will oversee air and ocean operations and drive service excellence for customers.

The role is full-time, based in Kuala Lumpur with relocation flexibility. A minimum of 5 years in air/sea freight and a 2-month notice period are required; salary ranges from RM6,000 to RM8,000 per month, gross.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on air and sea freight forwarding experience with operational management.
• Strong problem-solving, resourcefulness, adaptability and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support & Business Development: assist sales in quotations and acquiring key accounts (Korean and Malaysian markets).
• Oversee inbound/outbound air and ocean freight forwarding operations.
• Address client issues and drive continuous process improvements.
