Job summary

Mayflower Corporate Travel Services Sdn Bhd seeks a Network & Security Executive to safeguard our IT infrastructure and ensure high availability. You will oversee network administration, security monitoring, firewall and endpoint protection, and incident response to protect data and services.

The role requires hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management, plus the ability to coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, Network Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant network and security administration experience.
• Good knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, switches, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, vulnerability management, patching, and incident response.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Security+, Fortinet or CEH are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and monitor LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and Internet connectivity for reliable performance.
• Monitor security logs and events, identify threats, and support security controls implementation.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor firewalls, IDS/IPS, switches, and endpoint security solutions.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network and cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation and patching activities.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, documentation, and audit support.
