Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Network & Security Executive to maintain a secure, high‑performing IT backbone. You will oversee day‑to‑day network operations, security monitoring, firewall and device management, vulnerability remediation, and incident response to safeguard critical systems.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in IT or related field with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network and security administration, plus familiarity with TCP/IP, VPN, and security policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in network and security administration.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, switches, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, vulnerability management, patching and incident response.
• Familiarity with IT security policies, compliance, and audit processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee network administration across LAN/WAN/WiFi/VPN and ensure reliable connectivity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to minimize downtime.
• Manage security monitoring logs and detect threats.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, switches, and endpoint security.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Prepare network diagrams and security documentation for audits.
• Provide technical support for network and security issues to users.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents.
