Job summary

SD Guthrie International in Malaysia seeks a Senior Executive, IT Infrastructure & Applications to manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls, and supporting systems, ensuring availability and business continuity.

You will lead cybersecurity activities, coordinate vulnerability assessments, support SOC/SIEM operations, and drive infrastructure projects, budgeting, asset lifecycle, vendor contracts, and IT operations while maintaining governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT with relevant certifications.
• 4–6 years in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or app support.
• Experience in vendor management and IT asset budgeting.
• Strong PC troubleshooting and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to interact with technical and scientific personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure including networks, firewalls, and connectivity.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning to deployment.
• Prepare and manage IT OPEX/CAPEX budgets and asset lifecycle.
• Oversee vendor contracts, procurement and service performance.
• Ensure IT operations, governance, compliance and disaster recovery readiness.
• Liaise with stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure IT services.
