Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Technical Manager to lead IT infrastructure, security, and technical operations. You will drive reliability, implement security controls, and oversee projects with vendors and stakeholders.

You will mentor a technical team, act as escalation point, and ensure policy compliance, audit readiness, and continuous service improvements across the IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, server infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience in project management, vendor management, and IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, cloud services, servers, networks, endpoints, and security solutions.
• Oversee cybersecurity operations, security controls, incident response, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity readiness, backup management, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Manage technology projects and vendor relationships, ensuring timely and successful delivery of initiatives.
• Maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, and support audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical team members through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues, critical incidents, and stakeholder support requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure effective service delivery, including VIP user support and technical presales activities where required.
