Telekom Malaysia is seeking a Senior Network Security Architect to lead end-to-end design, architecture and deployment of cybersecurity solutions. The role requires developing technical capabilities, overseeing standards, and guiding teams in planning, designing and delivering secure, cost-effective and reliable solutions aligned with TM group objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of network security architecture, design, implementation and operations.
• Expertise with leading security vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Huawei, ZTE, Sangfor).

The Service Delivery (VAPT) (Delivery & PS) leads the end-to-end design, architecture, and deployment of cybersecurity and network security solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, optimizing network security infrastructure, driving technical excellence, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. It involves close collaboration with internal teams and technology partners, developing technical capabilities, overseeing architecture standards and designs, implementing new technologies, and leading teams in planning, designing, and deploying secure, cost-effective, and reliable solutions that support TM business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate and develop strategic objectives to capture, understand requirement and provide high level and low level design as part of key component to deliver exceptional customer service experience through extensive service design recommendation, hence meeting company’s NPS targets while maximizing company’s shareholders value and embracing the new TM service culture between TM One and TM Group.
• To strategies high level and low level design through most optimize and effective service design within Connectivity, ICT, application, Smart Services and Broadcast Delivery and performance focus in leveraging group strategies to create competitive advantage in the market place and growing additional revenue in new technology through effective optimization of resources in Connectivity, ICT, application, Smart Services and Broadcast Delivery and redeployment for new technology, moving up TM in the value chain from Network Service Provider to a complete Managed Communication Solution Provider in-line with customer business process and requirement and Digital Malaysia.
• Responsible to develop high level and low level design across TM ONE product lines (Connectivity, ICT, application, Smart Services and Broadcast) with governance on the operational risk within TM ONE’s related stakeholder and develop preventive measures for out-of-control situation or cases of non-compliance.
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company, in line with the new TM culture.
• Actively manage resources and optimize resource allocation as per skills and level of complexity.
• Ensure that interactions with other functions is efficient and enable other functions to interface effectively with the design team.
• Ensure the high quality of deliverables to our customers.
• Foster people development and capabilities building through appropriate management at all levels of the delivery department.
• Ensure the full team is aligned towards the achievement of TM Group and TM One ambition and objectives.
• Drives continuous performance improvement towards the achievements of KPIs relating to customer delivery satisfaction and to maintain Customer Satisfaction Index at a very optimum.
• Motivate and lead a high-performance design & architecture team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program such as idp.
• Provide and strategize out of box solution as an alternative approach to maximize the speed to generate revenue.
• Establish testing team to organize, prepare, execute and provide test report for the out-of-box solution for faster GTM.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Professional Certifications

• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Certification or equivalent.
• ITIL v3 / ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in network security architecture, design, implementation, and operations.
• Experience with security solutions from leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Huawei, ZTE, and Sangfor.

WE VALUE

• Minimum 5 years of experiences in similar capacity
• Experience in IP Protocol such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP and all other IP Network related standards
• Network Security solution not limited to Firewall, IPS and WAF
• Good knowledge on VMWare
• Specialist knowledge in one security area (Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Cyber Defense, Application Security, Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention, Managed Security Services)
• Expert-level certifications such as CCIE Security or equivalent.
