Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Trust Recruit Sdn Bhd is seeking a Principal Consultant (Network & Security) to lead solution architecture and pre‑sales across enterprise networking and cybersecurity. You will translate complex requirements into robust architecture proposals and drive demonstrations, workshops and client engagements.

The role demands 3–5+ years in technical pre‑sales or solution architecture, strong networking/security knowledge, and excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of proven success in a technical pre‑sales, solution architect, or senior systems engineering role, focusing on enterprise networking and cybersecurity.
• Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a strong advantage for regional clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and pre‑sales activities for Enterprise Networking and Cybersecurity.
• Author comprehensive technical proposals, BOMs, SOWs and diagrams using Visio or Lucidchart.
• Deliver high‑impact technical presentations, workshops, and tailored demos to executives and stakeholders.
• Oversee POC management and pilot implementations to validate client requirements.

Principal Consultant (Network & Security)

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to drive solution architecture and technical leadership across Enterprise Networking and Cybersecurity domains. In this key pre-sales role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients translating complex business and technical requirements into robust, high-availability architecture proposals. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic business goals, leading solution demonstrations, technical workshops, and high-value client engagements.

Job Descriptions

Solution Architecture & Pre-Sales Leadership: Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and lead the design of end-to-end network and security solutions, including campus networks, enterprise Wi‑Fi, firewalls, VPNs, and advanced threat detection frameworks.

Technical Proposal & Design: Author comprehensive technical proposals, precise Bills of Materials (BOM), Scope of Work (SOW) documentation, and architecture diagrams using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.

Client Engagement & Presentations: Deliver high‑impact technical presentations, solution workshops, and tailored demonstrations to C‑level executives and key technical stakeholders.

Proof of Concept (POC) Management: Oversee and execute hands‑on POCs and pilot implementations, successfully validating solution capabilities against client requirements.

Relationship & Market Advisory: Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, providing expert guidance on industry best practices, competitive landscapes, and emerging cybersecurity trends.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven success in a technical pre‑sales, solution architect, or senior systems engineering role, with a focus on enterprise networking and cybersecurity.

Communication & Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; professional fluency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for regional client engagements.

Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching) and security platforms (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, DDoS mitigation).

Certifications (Highly Advantageous): Professional or expert certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet NSE or AWS.
