Job summary

SAILOG MARITIME SDN BHD is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to grow our air, ocean, and logistics services portfolio. You will generate leads, secure new customers, and maintain strong client relationships while meeting monthly sales targets.

Role requires a diploma or degree in business, logistics, or related field, with at least 2 years in freight forwarding or logistics sales. Travel for customer visits and a competitive salary package are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, and supply chain solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Possess own transport and willingness to travel for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, and Logistics services.
• Conduct sales visits, customer meetings, and presentations to prospective clients.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads to secure new accounts.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for account growth.
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports.
