Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a strategic Key Account Manager for Johor & Penang to manage a portfolio of key clients in the Malaysian logistics landscape. You will build multi-level relationships, develop account plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

You will lead commercial negotiations, monitor KPIs, and act as the voice of the customer to ensure service levels, efficiency, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Proven track record in client-facing roles (Key Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial).
• Knowledge of Malaysian logistics landscape including freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs, and transport networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of key accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong, multi-level relationships within client organizations.
• Create and execute strategic account plans to achieve retention and identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client supply chains to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to architect comprehensive and cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Develop and present business proposals, value propositions, and financial models for clients.
• Drive revenue and profitability growth through upselling and cross-selling.
• Lead contract renewals, new service agreements, and pricing reviews.
• Monitor KPIs (SLAs, profitability, customer satisfaction) and implement corrective actions.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
• Oversee onboarding for new solutions and services.
• Proactively manage and resolve service escalations.
