Job summary

Centific is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with management and employees, delivering value-added HR services. You will maintain business literacy about financials and plans, culture and competition, guiding relations and performance across units.

The role involves compliance, policy interpretation, workforce planning, and expatriate matters, with weekly unit meetings and ongoing HR program development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Strong knowledge of compensation, performance management, organizational diagnosis and related employment laws.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when needed.
• Analyses trends and metrics with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
• Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
