Job summary

MESSER INDUSTRIAL GASES SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the company’s human resources functions and align them with business objectives.

You will lead recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll and training, ensuring compliance with Malaysian laws and internal policies in a manufacturing setting. Strong leadership and communication skills are required to work with management and staff, safeguard confidential information, and drive HR initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and payroll.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes to meet business needs.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Manage training and development activities, including HRD Corp matters.
• Monitor employee performance and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
