The successful candidate will develop HR policies in line with Malaysian employment law, manage performance, oversee compensation, and drive strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic, listed-company environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and labour regulations.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, selecting, and onboarding qualified candidates for various roles across the organisation.
• Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines per Malaysian law.
• Managing employee relations including performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution.
• Overseeing compensation and benefits programmes to ensure competitiveness and satisfaction.
• Conducting training needs assessments and implementing development programmes.
• Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
• Liaising with recruitment agencies, labour unions, and government authorities.
• Supporting executive management with HR-related strategic initiatives.
