Job summary

BD in Kedah, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to drive Employee Relations, Reward and Talent Management. The role focuses on partnering with leaders to implement best-practice people strategies, manage grievances, and develop competitive compensation programs.

The candidate should have substantial HR experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in HR processes and compliance with local labour laws.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business / HR Compensation and Benefits or equivalent.
• Degree or professional certification in HR Management is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in general HR and HRBP at a similar level.
• In-depth knowledge of HR management practices and local labour law.
• Experience with Kaizen, Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business unit managers to develop and implement employee relations best practices and programs.
• Handle employee grievances and counsel with stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
• Advise management on employee relations and workplace practices.
• Provide guidance on employee concerns and inquiries.
• Oversee grievance and disciplinary processes.
