Job summary

SEEK is seeking an Industrial and Employee Relations Partner for Asia, based in Malaysia. The role focuses on hands-on employee relations, policy, compliance, and advisory support to HRBPs, navigating complex cases across APAC markets with emphasis on Malaysia.

Reporting to the ER lead in Melbourne, you will influence change and governance across markets. The role requires strong knowledge of employment laws, stakeholder management, and willingness to travel within the region to support business

Qualifications

• Proven employee relations expertise in large corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation across relevant Asian markets.
• Adaptable and pragmatic, able to align with SEEK’s context and risk profile.
• Hands-on delivery capability with end-to-end case management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• High level interpersonal and stakeholder management across cultures.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally to Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER advice and hands-on support to the HRBP team.
• Prevent and resolve workplace conflict and address relationships issues.
• Manage complex, high-risk cases with fairness and risk mitigation.
• Conduct end-to-end investigations with clear findings and options.
• Coordinate with external legal partners for Asia markets.
• Represent SEEK in external forums as required.
• Collaborate on strategic workforce changes with ER input.
