Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws.
• HR functions including recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Excellent organizational and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS/payroll systems advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Malay language skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate human resource management activities to maximize strategic use of human resources and maintain recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory functions.
• Administer company activities & recreation programs.
• Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.
• Provide information about policies, duties, working conditions, wages, promotion opportunities and benefits.
• Advise managers on policy matters and recommend changes.
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
• Serve as a link between management and employees and help resolve work-related problems.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities related to employment, compensation, and employee relations.
• Analyse training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs with Safety Officer.
• Maintain records and compile statutory reports (HIRES, transfers, appraisals, absenteeism).
• Analyse data to identify causes of personnel policies and practices.
• Conduct exit interviews to identify termination reasons.
• Oversee job evaluation and classification of positions.
• Study legislation and contracts to assess industry trends.
• Compile statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO and Income Tax.
• Administer HRDC Files.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
