Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll processing for a global workforce. You will ensure on-time, accurate payments and maintain strong controls and compliance across regulatory requirements.

This role requires prior multinational payroll management experience, plus the ability to adapt to global reporting models. You will mentor the payroll team, optimize processes, and manage relationships with providers to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• CPP designation is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations with accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and data integrity.
• Maintain payroll systems, controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Support and develop the payroll team; drive process improvements.
• Respond to employee inquiries on payroll matters promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with vendors and auditors as required.
• Develop and enforce payroll policies and internal controls.
