Job summary

Ferring Malaysia is seeking a senior finance professional to lead financial strategy, business partnering and global process excellence. You will manage period-end closings, IFRS compliance, and collaborate with the BPO to ensure high-quality financial services across P2P, O2C, and A2R.

The role requires 5+ years of finance experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent stakeholder management. Fluency in English and local language is expected. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 5 years’ experience in relevant finance roles.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.
• Analytical mindset and a self-starter with initiative.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to present views and be challenged.
• Independent worker with ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in a decentralised finance structure.
• Ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor improvement projects.
• Professional business English (oral and written) and local language as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic management reports and variance analyses for review meetings.
• Advise and challenge business with timely analyses of variances, risks and financial impact.
• Provide management information to other departments.
• Monitor key performance ratios and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with BPO to ensure smooth in-scope finance activities.
• Oversee period end closing, journal entries and internal controls.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and adherence to local regulations.
• Support HQ/Corporate Finance in implementing finance programs.
