Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP knowledge; proficient in MS Excel.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with business controllers for timely GL entries at month/year end closing.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations; ensure accounts are reconciled.
• Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify trends and potential issues in financial data.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support financial tasks.
• Propose and implement continuous process improvements within RTR to increase efficiency.
• Maintain and update the internal controls framework for policy compliance.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/Cash Management to support business requirements.
• Assist in forecasts and budgeting.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed.
