Job summary

Terumo Asia Pacific is seeking a Finance professional in Malaysia to manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting in IFRS framework.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in accountancy/finance, 3+ years of relevant experience (Big 4/MNCs preferred) and strong English; SAP and Power BI experience are an advantage. This is a collaboration-heavy role supporting regional finance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance.
• Professional accreditation (CPA/CA) is advantageous.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; Big 4/MNC experience advantageous.
• Regional experience is advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and bank transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and month-end closings.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Monitor AP/AR aging and ensure timely collections and payments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls; coordinate with auditors.
