Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Sales Executive to join the team in Malaysia. You will support the Business Development Director and Managers in identifying and developing new business opportunities within Facilities Management Services, with a focus on meeting customer requirements while upholding CBRE's quality standards.

The role emphasizes building client relationships, preparing sales and tender documents, and closing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least 12 months of work experience in a service-based sales environment.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce detailed written documents and reports.
• Experience dealing with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Support the BD Director & BD Manager in negotiating and closing sales opportunities to meet targets.
• Develop the skills to manage own sales opportunities and source development opportunities.
• Build professional relationships with existing, new and potential clients and with operational managers.
• Consider innovative ways to develop new sources of profitable business and discuss feasibility with the BD Director.
• Create and deliver sales and tender documents and presentations with support from procurement, HR, QHS, and local managers.
• Raise the company profile by representing CBRE at events and networking opportunities.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activity.
• Work with the BD Director and sales team to meet targets and provide weekly progress updates.
• Ensure proper sign-offs and maintain records and contract documents for tenders and re-bids.
• Handle pre-qualifications promptly and keep the BD team updated on progress.
