Job summary

ABB in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Energy Industries sales leader to develop and execute regional strategy, drive orders, and manage complex bids for LNG terminals, petrochemical complexes, and power plants. You will coordinate with customers, partners, and internal teams to optimize profitability and market share.

The role requires 8–10 years in energy sales, 5+ years in front-end automation sales, and strong knowledge of ICSS/SCADA/Digital solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Energy Industries experience with minimum 5 years in front-end sales for automation/control solutions.
• Degree in Engineering or Business; MBA.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an effective Energy Industries Division sales strategy for the APAC region.
• Lead tendering, costing, and commercial negotiations for large-scale bids.
• Identify opportunities, engage customers, and ensure delivery of sales targets and revenue growth.
• Coach and develop the sales team to achieve orders, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
