Job summary

Petron Malaysia is actively seeking dynamic and innovative sales professionals to drive lubricant sales and grow distributor networks in Sarawak. The role involves developing annual business plans, executing growth initiatives, and partnering with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to ensure seamless operations across the distributor network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, key account management, or distributor/channel management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Strong experience in managing distributors, dealers, channel partners, or reseller networks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyze market trends, sales performance and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive lubricant sales volume, revenue, and margin growth within the assigned territory.
• Manage and develop distributor networks to achieve business objectives, sales targets, and market coverage goals.
• Collaborate with distributors to develop and execute annual business plans, sales strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Identify new business opportunities, target key market sectors, and expand customer reach to grow market presence.
• Monitor distributor performance, sales pipeline, product mix, and profitability through regular business reviews.
• Coach, guide, and support distributor sales teams to enhance sales effectiveness and performance.
• Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and Technical teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Support the implementation of sales and marketing programs to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
• Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to support planning and decision-making.
• Ensure business continuity and operational effectiveness across the distributor network.
