Job summary

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS seeks an accomplished digital and data leader to steer the university’s master plan, governance, and investment portfolio for technology and data initiatives. You will oversee operations, innovation delivery, and digital infrastructure to deliver secure, reliable, user-centered services and measurable institutional value.

You will drive stakeholder alignment across academic, regulatory and industry partners, with a strong focus on risk, performance, and benefits

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent discipline.
12+ years of progressive experience in digital and technology functions with senior leadership responsibility.
Advanced degree and relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud, data, project or programme management, service management, governance or change leadership would be advantageous.
Ability to communicate complex digital, technology, risk and investment matters clearly to executives with strong written, presentation and influencing skills.
Ability to build trusted relationships, negotiate effectively and align diverse stakeholders across environments.
Strong strategic, analytical and commercial judgement to evaluate business cases and investments.

Responsibilities

Set the strategic direction for support operations services and establish operating model.
Govern the digital delivery portfolio, approve investments and monitor benefits realization.
Oversee governance, enterprise architecture, QA, change management and contract governance.
Set strategic direction for enterprise applications, data analytics and responsible AI; monitor adoption and benefits.
Lead digital infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms and cyber risk management; ensure resilience and recovery.
