Job summary

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) is seeking an enterprise digital leader to set strategic direction for the university's digital and data agenda. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent discipline
• 12+ years of progressive experience in digital and technology functions including senior leadership in enterprise transformation, tech ops, cybersecurity, data & analytics and investment governance
• An advanced degree and relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud, data, project/program management, service management, governance or change leadership would be advantageous
• Proven ability to communicate complex digital, technology, risk and investment matters to executive, technical and non-technical audiences with strong written and presenting skills
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships, negotiate with diverse stakeholders across academic, professional, regulatory, industry and technology partner environments
• Strong strategic, analytical and commercial judgement including evaluation of business cases, technology investments, architecture options, cyber and operational risks, vendor proposals and benefits realisation

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for the university's digital and data agenda and oversee the digital master plan and investment portfolio
• Govern innovation and delivery to prioritise value and align with strategy, feasibility and total cost of ownership
• Establish and oversee governance for enterprise architecture, quality assurance, change management, audit readiness and contract governance
• Oversee application, data analytics, responsible AI and digital user experience roadmaps and investments
• Set direction for digital infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms and cybersecurity, and ensure resilience and security across operations
• Communicate effectively with executive, academic, industry and regulatory stakeholders to drive adoption and benefits realisation
