Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a dynamic Head of IT to lead the Group's technology function and drive digital transformation across the organisation. The role blends hands-on leadership with strategic business focus, translating technology into practical solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen operations and enable growth across multiple sites in Malaysia.

You will shape IT strategy, oversee cybersecurity, data protection, vendor management and budgets, and develop a high-performing IT team

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT/CS or related field.
Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in management.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations.
Experience managing projects, vendors and budgets.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

Lead IT operations, infrastructure and technology services.
Develop and drive IT strategies aligned with business goals.
Oversee systems, networks, cybersecurity, data protection and IT infrastructure.
Drive system improvements, automation and digital transformation.
Lead IT projects, system implementation and technology upgrades.
Identify and implement technology solutions that improve business efficiency.
Manage IT vendors, budgets and external technology partners.
Establish IT policies, security standards and business continuity plans.
Lead, coach and develop the IT team.
Partner with HODs and senior management on IT solutions.
