AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Contract & Cost Control Manager (Quantity Surveying) to lead cost management across multiple developments. You will manage budgets, procurement, and contract administration to ensure financial integrity.

The role requires a minimum 10 years in cost control and QS with leadership experience; MRICS or RISM is an advantage. You will work with finance, design, and project teams to optimize value and avoid overruns.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Building, or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, RISM) are a strong advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in cost control, quantity surveying and contract management.
• At least 3–5 years must be in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Pre- and post-contract management; knowledge of PAM, PWD, or similar contracts; tender preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and costings for current projects and land targets.
• Formulate, monitor, and reforecast project budgets with detailed cost breakdowns.
• Lead quarterly cost reviews and variance reporting to management.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including calling quotations, tenders, evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Prepare and administer contractual documents and final accounts.
• Strategically track and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs) to control cost overruns.
• Manage cash flow forecasts and provide cost models, valuations, and data to support financing.
• Establish SOPs and governance controls for all cost-related activities.
• Lead and motivate a technical cost-management team.
• Advise design teams on value engineering and cost-effective alternatives.
