Job summary

SEAL CONSULT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning and commercial control on complex construction projects in Kedah.

You will manage budgets, bills of quantities, and procurement, while guiding project teams and stakeholders to optimize commercial outcomes. The role requires 5–10 years of QS experience, strong contract knowledge, and proficiency with cost estimation software, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in QS, CM, CE, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, cost management, and relevant legislation.
• Experience with tendering is preferred and cost estimation software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, estimation, and preparing quantities for complex projects.
• Manage tender docs, bids analysis, contract negotiations, and procurement.
• Monitor expenditures, certify valuations, cash flow, and cost reporting.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and contractual adjustments; assess risks.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Supervise junior QS staff and provide guidance and training.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts, final accounts, and maintain records.
