SENG KOON CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Kuala Lumpur to handle cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement coordination for interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong contract knowledge and keen analytical skills.

You will work closely with the QS and project team, ensuring accurate cost control, proper documentation, and timely final accounts. A relevant degree and 3–5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in construction works.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and contract laws (e.g., PAM, CIDB, JKR forms).
• Own transportation for site visits and meetings.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Cost estimation & budgeting: Prepare accurate cost plans, estimates, and budgets for interior fit-out works.
• Maintain documentation of all contractual correspondence and changes.
• Tendering and contract management: preparation of tender documents and contract conditions.
• Supplier & subcontractor coordination: Negotiate rates, manage procurement support, and monitor deliverables.
• Work with QS and project team to monitor cost implications related to contractual changes.
• Support in final accounts preparation and closing.
• Prepare main claim and subcon claim
