Job summary

CIMB in Malaysia is seeking a senior banking professional to actively lead a portfolio of commercial business customers. The role focuses on deepening existing relationships, identifying distressed opportunities, and adding new clients that meet bank targets for the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss objectives of the Commercial Banking Division.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of a portfolio of existing commercial business customers.
• Deepen relationships while identifying distressed customers for proactive action.
• Prospect and onboard new customers that meet quality criteria.
• Conduct profitability analyses and formulate account strategies with product specialists.
• Be the first contact for credit, deposits, and other banking services.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers (CEO, CFO, Head of Treasury, etc.).
• Perform financial and risk analyses and prepare credit presentations for approval.
• Coordinate with product lines and units to deliver cross-sell opportunities and services.
• Monitor asset quality with periodic health checks and annual credit reviews.
